My branch first came to the US from San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico in the early 1920s beginning with Lauro Palacios. Lauro's father was Juan Nepomuceno and his mother was Maria de Jesus Garcia, both from San Fernando. Juan N.'s father was Antonio, born around 1830 and his mother was Celsa Gutierrez. Cannot find this Antonio's POB or DOB, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am a double Perez--both my maternal grandparents were Perez--2nd cousins all came from Mex. One branch, around 1850, JOSE ALEJO PEREZ b 1813 & wife, unknown, children: Valenti b 1839, Angelos b 1843, Ramano b 1845, Felipe b 1848 Josepha b 1849 settled in San Diego, Duval Co, TX area.
The other branch, NICOLAS PERES b 1832, wife, ASUNCION GARCIA b 1842 came from Marin, N.L., Mex. Around 1870 settled in Rancho Randado, Jim Hogg Co., TX. I can trace this line back to Marin, N.L., Mex to FRANCISCO PERES b 1735 m ISABEL GONZALEZ b 1739.
